I COME FROM HERE. WHOO! THE HOMESTEAD! it’s not this pretty in real life. there’s rain and grey all over the place, for a start, and a big hulk of rotting wood all along the edge of the water. i think it was a dock once. NOT ANYMORE, SAID NATURE, ROTTING THE FUCK OUT OF IT. now it’s got danger signs on it. also, from almost any other angle you can see the gaping expanse of shit-brown mud up both sides of the river on the other side of the bridge (it lights up at christmas, but there’s no need to mention that really), so that it looks like it’s only half full, when actually it’s just a half assed river. gotta love home.
